How does molecular weight selection affect performance in specialty applications?
Higher molecular weight grades provide stronger mechanical properties but also increase viscosity, which may affect processability. Grades with higher hydrolysis improve water resistance and are better suited for moisture-sensitive applications (temporary coatings, ceramic binders, moisture-sensitive films).
