SELVOL™ PVOH is used in caulks and sealants, joint compounds (e.g. joint cements and drywall mud), redispersible powders (e.g. grouts and mortars), and, of course, indirectly as components in industrial or construction adhesives. With proper grade selection, SELVOL™ also contributes to balanced critical properties such as open time, sandability, spreadability, and slip resistance.
